The Hydrogen Gas Saver: Discover The Benefits Today

As gas prices continue their shocking rise, many individuals are searching for a way to save money on gas.  When you look for advice on how to save on gas you'll more than likely be told to keep your car tuned up and schedule routine maintenance.Just a few of these maintenance tips involve simple things like checking the air pressure in your tires, checking and changing the spark plugs if needed and using the correct oil grade in your car.  These practices can definitely help, but only on a minimal scale.  People are searching for a magic bullet so to speak and many are finding it in a hydrogen gas saver.

The hydrogen gas saver will boost your cars gas mileage and also drop the emissions let out.  These little gas savers, known also as a hydrogen generator gas saver, are a fantastic way to fight high gas prices.  What this generator does is it makes oxygen and hydrogen gas, otherwise known as HHO.  How this works is it utilizes your cars electrical system, some distilled water and a little bit of baking soda.  There are estimates out that say using only one gallon of distilled water can bring about two thousand gallons of fuel for your vehicle.

The best part is, these generators can be built and installed by you in little time. This can be a great bonus by helping you cut the cost on installation fees that would be charged to you by your local mechanic. There are just a select few reports that will inform you on how to put one of these gas savers together yourself.  These guides give you detailed instructions and even show you where to get the parts needed.  Upon installation of one of these generators, your cars fuel efficiency will rival those of current hybrids.

With the hydrogen gas saver installed on your car, it will also help lower your cars emissions.  This will also help your car run more efficiently thus providing up to seventy percent better gas mileage.  Can you begin to realize what a seventy percent boost in your cars gas mileage could mean?  Just imagine how much money you could save and what other things you can purchase besides fuel.

Listen, we all know that gas prices are not going to go down anytime in the near future, if not ever.  So if your like many and want to save on gas, purchasing a hydrogen gas saver guide may just be what the doctor ordered.  We all know that it is a good idea to keep your car maintained and schedule it for routine maintenance but this will only keep it's efficiency at factory standards.  There is only one way that you can boost the gas mileage and it is done with technology and a little water.

Find Pre-Owned Cars Online

Looking at buying a used car online, but aren't sure where to look? The Internet is a big place, and has numerous resources for used car buyers, but you need to know where to look to find the best deals.

First of all, you can find used car listings on your local newspapers website. These are nice, because they are all typically sellers in your local area which makes it easy to stop by and take a test drive, which is critical for getting the best possible deal on a used car.

Stepping out a little more, you can check online classifieds sites, such as Craigslist, which will expose you to a broad range of sellers, many of whom will be near you, though not to quite the same extent as a news paper might. These sites can be gold mines, though, so be sure to give them a look.

If you're looking to broaden your scope further, try sites like eBay Motors, which brings sellers from all over the country into one convenient location. These listings are both auction format and fixed price, so you have multiple buying options. These sellers will be located all over the country, but you can search for listings that are in your area. To make things better, you can also prevent scams by using eBay's basic buyer protection. Definitely worth checking into.

If you're looking at a very specific model of used car, try search on car enthusiast forums. For example, if you want to buy a late '80s Nissan Z car, then visit some Z car forums to find sellers. Buying from these sorts of sellers can be great, because they are often very knowledgeable and passionate about the cars. You will be able to get a really good idea as to the condition of the car if you go with a seller like this.

There are many other places to find used cars online. In fact, there are many other car listing specific sites you can buy from. However, the places I've listed above have the highest amount of listings, and are thus the most "bang for your buck" locations for buying a used car online.

As always, be careful when shopping online. Don't throw away your common sense, and make sure that you're getting a good car at a fair price. By doing your homework, checking around for prices, and studying the car carefully before purchasing, you will be able to get a great deal on buying a used car online.

Myth Busters - Can You Run Your Car On Water?

buy water4gas

Hydrogen powered car. Doesn’t it sound too good to be true?

But it’s a fact that today this technology has seen a lot of improvement and has contributed to the invention of HHO generators that allows your car to run on water. These generators are not only used to make your vehicle move but they are also a big factor in helping to reduce the cost of operating your vehicle.

Let us first try to understand the principle on which this idea is based. We know that water is made of hydrogen and oxygen. The HHO or the Hybrid Hydrogen Oxygen generators work on the technology of using this hydrogen and oxygen.

The electricity from the battery of the car is obtained and then it is burned to produce a gas that is known as HHO. This gas is responsible for the energy required to cause motion in a vehicle through a process known as combustion.

It follows a simple concept; to remove the hydrogen from the water, which leaves the oxygen behind, oxygen that is required for combustion, thus making it possible to generate energy that would drive a vehicle.

This concept is not a new one. It was actually developed many years ago but was not given much importance then. This idea has gained more popularity, especially these days, with the continuous increase in fuel prices. Though some still don’t believe that it is possible to use water as an alternate fuel, there are many who have been using it for some time now and are more than happy with the results.

This technology is relatively cheap, affordable and contributes significantly to the accelerated mileage of a motor vehicle.

When you think about making an effectively operational HHO generator, it sounds like a complex task. You feel that technicians and experts with experience only, can do it. But the fact is that it is not as difficult as it sounds.

It is better to learn how to build a HHO generator rather than going for the ready made ones. The readily assembled generators are not only difficult to find but even if they are found, you will end up paying a huge amount for them.

Then, as well as, spending an exorbitant amount on it, you will also need professional help to get it installed. That means spending more and more money. Thus it is advisable to build an engine on your own and install it too.

But before doing that, you should consult the various well reputed water fuel guides that are posted on the Internet. The entire process is explained in an easy to understand, step-by-step approach. You can even get all your doubts cleared from them.

They definitely will help you save a lot of money that you would have otherwise spent on buying a ready made HHO generator and the cost of installation.

This technology is slowly gaining acceptance and popularity, as besides its affordability factor, it is also safe and reliable. The use of a HHO generator also saves on gas mileage of the vehicle considerably, depending on the type and make of the vehicle.

It is also known to cause less pollution compared to other fuels.

You have to experience it to believe it!

Biodiesel: The Future Of Fuel As We Know It?

Rising costs of energy fuels have pushed corporations and people to search for low-cost sources of fuels for their machines and autos. Biodiesel, in the stern chemistry sense, is formed from alcohol esters that are processed from the oils of veggies like soybeans, mustard seeds and rapeseeds. Fat is also sometimes used.

You mix the plant oil with the alcohol compound like methanol or ethanol with a catalyst that is hydroxide-based like sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide. Though there are a few alternative sources of fuels that are rising in the market, biodiesel is winning votes and making quite a following. This is perhaps due to its flexibility.

So far, biodiesel is the sole alternative fuel that can be employed in engines without the requirement for any alteration. The fuel has similar properties as that of the diesel, making it straightforward to use. The most typical mix is named the b20, which is twenty p.c biofuel and 80 % diesel. And as it is more lubricating than petrol diesel, it is gentler with engines, so extending its life. It's extremely useful to know how to make biodiesel in the current climate.

The environmentalists too are loving the current crop of biofuels. Having just natural ingredients, it has no emission that can possibly harm the environment. It complies with the Clean Air Act and is located to be safe to use. States who are producing their own biofuel are also ready to cut their importation of fuels and at the same time increase their rural and business sectors. This is maybe because the majority are not yet convinced that biodiesel can have a market. Still, there are sites that milk the increasing demand for biodiesel. Web sites have started to supply fuels at lower costs compared to those being offered in gas stations, catering to those who need to buy in quantity. Some are bonafide but others are now not. So , buyers should be careful in purchasing biodiesel online as they can be conned into purchasing something that does not basically exist

Auto Auction Secrets

Normal 0

By Jim Nettleton

You may be aware that, all over the country, auto auctions are in full swing at all times. What you may not be aware of is that you can easily find incredible bargains at these auctions that will enable you to purchase a vehicle very inexpensively and possibly even resell it for a profit.

The two leading sources of these auto auctions are banks and the government. In the case of the government, you can be dealing with the federal, state or local level. Banks auction repossessed vehicles, frequently for pennies on the dollar. They are not in the vehicle business and want to turn these unwanted possessions into cash as quickly as possible.

Usually, banks will auction vehicles for what is owed to them on the loan that they initially issued. In some cases, there could be very little left on the loan, and you could be in line for a significant bargain.

In the government’s case, whether you’re dealing with federal, state or local authorities, there is a different imperative involved. The government never issued a loan on the vehicles they auction, so getting their money back is not foremost in their minds. Most vehicles auctioned by governments have been seized, along with other possessions, from individuals who have been involved in illegal activity. As a result, since there is no target amount to derive from the auctions, vehicles can and do get sold for very little money.

You can get more information on this fascinating subject by getting my totally free report from the link in my resource box below. It takes you through the complete process of finding vehicles at auctions.

Governments also auction their own fleet vehicles that have outlived their usefulness. Usually those vehicles will be relatively high mileage, but don’t let that scare you off. Government vehicles are, for the most part, very well maintained, so the risk involved in buying a used car with high mileage is minimized.

There are some disadvantages to purchasing a vehicle at an auction. First, you don’t have a chance to test drive the vehicle. Second, you’ll usually have to pay cash on the spot, with no financing being offered. Third, no warranties are issued, so it pays to study the vehicles and to know your stuff. But as in anything else involving a purchase, if you prepare carefully and do your homework, as well as using common sense, you can find a great bargain.

If you adopt a careful approach and go in with our eyes wide open, you can win at the auto auction game. With the price of cars steadily rising, this may well be your best option for saving lots of money and getting a good vehicle as well.

Get my free report from the link in the resource box for more detailed information on auto auctions. Happy hunting.

Prepare Your Car for Winter: Four Things to Do Now

If you have never lived in a cold climate, you probably haven't had to deal with driving and handling a car in snowy conditions. There is a lot of preparation that needs to be done before you can drive safely through the winter. Just as you make sure you are prepared properly with winter clothing and gear, your car needs a winter wardrobe. Use the following steps to help ensure your car operates safely during the winter.

Preparing your car for winter breaks down into two categories: regular car maintenance and specialty items to deal with inclement weather. Regular car maintenance includes things that you do to your car year round. You need to make sure that these maintenance tasks get done before the weather starts to change so you can make sure that your car is running at its optimum level.

Before the winter starts, you should get your car's routine maintenance up to date. Getting your oil changed and your brakes fixed are essential in preparing your car for winter. Roads can be dangerous after the first snowfall. If you opt to go for snow tires, you should get them installed several weeks before winter hits. Snow tires aren't always necessary but they are a good idea if you are going to be driving in a place that experiences a lot of snowfall. Even if you don't need snow tires, check to make sure that your tires are in good enough shape to handle the wintry conditions.

Test out your windshield wipers before the first rain or snowfall. Be sure the wipers don't just smear water across your windshield. Windshield wipers that work improperly can severely reduce your visibility and put you at risk for getting into an accident. Replace your windshield wipers and take a look at the special winter windshield wipers that are available on the market today. If you live in an area where you frequently experience snowfall, this may be a good option. While you're at it, make sure that your windshield wiper fluid container is filled, and put an extra gallon on fluid in your trunk.

The next part of car preparation is gathering together the supplies that you'll need to get your car running when the weather is bad. These supplies should be kept in two spaces: your garage and in your car. For your garage, you'll need a shovel, a small broom and some de-icing spray. These are necessary in order to free your car from any heavy snowfall that occurred the night before. You may also find an ice scraper handy.

For your car, you should carry an additional ice scraper and some de-icing spray to use if you have to park outside during work hours. These items should be kept with a winter emergency kit that is stored in the trunk of your car. In addition to the scraper and spray, you should store a blanket, some dry snacks, first-aid supplies and bottled water. If you're ever stuck in a snowstorm, these items will help you survive. You can easily find emergency kits and necessary supplies at your local discount store or online.

While driving during the wintertime certainly isn't something that you should worry about, you should take the steps necessary to prepare your car for the coming months. Get your car tuned up and stocked with emergency supplies and you'll be ready to take what ever the winter weather throws your way.

The Truth About How A Car Donation Can Reduce Your Tax!

Most people assume that car donation and charity giving are tools the rich alone are able to use to ease their tax burden.  This couldn't be further from the truth!Anyone that tries can file a tax return with itemized deductions if they bother taking the time and effort to do so.  Though you are responsible for gathering receipts that back up your deduction claims, car donation for charity is now set up in such a way to make claiming the correct amount in deduction easier than ever.

In the case of car donation, charity organizations have been reliant upon donated items for a long time, though hardly as a large part of their overall donation dollars.  In fact, a report issued by the General Accounting Office (GAO) in 2003, when levels of charitable giving was at its highest in terms of car donation, charity coffers were still little affected by the input of donated vehicles.  As little as six percent of the “typical” charity was represented by car donation.

The self-employed are in an especially good position to take itemized deductions of monies turned back into the business as well as legitimate car donations.  A charity that is sanctioned by the IRS and has a legitimate non-profit tax ID number should be more than able to provide you with the forms you need to make your deduction with the same confidence as any other type of deduction you save a receipt for.

Proven advice that even the same car donation to charity can vary greatly in its value to an individual's return.  However, filing itemized deductions can actually benefit most taxpayers providing they take the extra time to write them all down.  Indeed, it is common for someone who had previously taken a standardized deduction to find their tax burden to be somewhat to significantly decreased as a result of this extra effort – as much as 30 or 40% in some cases.

With the extra money available for donation that can come from car donation, charity giving can be very useful for bringing one's income down below the level where they might put you into a higher tax bracket.Near the end of the year there is often an increase in auto donation by those who are nearing a higher bracke.  This can save you quite a bit when done correctly.

Generally it is a good idea to not count on your car netting the sort of value at sale that you might imagine it would, given the Kelly Blue Book value listed.  According to current IRS guidelines, car donation to charity that nets over $250 must be accompanied by a receipt that clearly outlines how much value the car actually was able to get (usually when sold on the wholesale or scrap markets) for the charitable organization in question.

Another potentially lucrative use of car donation to charity is using the donation amount as a deduction compared with the expense of fixing up the car yourself for sale later. It seems incredible that though this can actually save some people more money, one is liable for the capital gains of a vehicle that has appreciated since you took ownership at least one year previously.  In the case of collectible cars that have already been fixed up, this can represent a real hit.  Knowing what cars to donate and which ones to keep a hold of for investment purposes is highly volatile and subject to the other income specifics of such a donor.

It is always a good idea to talk to a CPA, especially if you already have the services of one retained for your regular tax preparation advice.  If you own a business, this is especially true.  Even the same car donation to charity can vary greatly in its value to an individual's return.

Convert Your Car to Run On Water for Less Than $50 Bucks

Produce your own electricity from your own water? It may sound crazy but it is true. A new water energy system (WES) has been developed to produce electricity with no fossil fuel or non-fossil energy; instead, a glass of water will do.

This great invention prevents global warming because no greenhouse gases are emitted and it is safe due to the source of the energy for the system, water. As we all know water is safe and non-volatile. And just think of the savings when you say bye-bye to the electric company.

You're probably wondering if tap water can be used as the water supply for this cool contraption? Yes, ‘Basically, any water can be used for power generation. We use pure water, however, to prevent rusting and clogging of mechanical parts.’ is the answer you'll find in the company’s website.

Which company is this you ask?

Genepax, from Japan. Genepax uses its own water energy system to charge, for example, the battery for the electric car.

But what about water as gas for your car? It’s certainly great to be able to use your tap water to create your own electricity but if your automobile could run on water then, well, now we are talking.

The idea of a car running on water is far-fetched and a short browse on the web about the subject can easily overwhelm you with frustration. A great place to start is with Mike Allen and his article in Popular Mechanics.

He distills the process down to basics so that we can all understand how it works and then he goes on to test a hand-built HHO kit to see what the fuel savings would be. Well, the answer may surprise you.

But before you go out and buy a kit to convert your auto to run on water have a look at Daniel Dingel’s water vehicle because he’s not trying to sell you anything. He just wants to show you (there are videos) that he has ‘designed a process that efficiently maximizes on-demand hydrogen extraction from the electrolysis of ordinarily-available water.’ What does that mean? That he runs his automobile on water using a system he invented many years ago.

His car does not burn water but instead ‘burns the hydrogen gas directly in the engine’s combustion chamber. The extraction process being on-demand, Dingel’s auto does not store hydrogen gas onboard in quantities that pose an explosion risk.’ Information that’s good to know.

So if Genepax can create electricity from water and Daniel Dingel’s vehicle runs on water then the idea of our autos running on water is not so far-fetched after all.

Demand for water-powered autos will increase and there are plenty of companies out there working on ensuring there will a supply to meet it. But why wait when you can modify your vehicle today. Who else wants to continue to pay high-gasoline prices?

A look at water-gas conversion kits on the web finds Ozzie Freedom claiming to have the original ‘water4gas’ web site where ‘you can actually get the real deal with real tech support.’ To read all about it go to water4gas.com.

If you’re keen on other similar options, there is runyourcarwithwater.com, and gas4free.com.

How can hydrogen improve your car's fuel mpg?

It seems highly unlikely that by simply fitting a water container in the engine compartment of your car, inserting some electrical plates and using the gas that is generated to add to the normal fuel in your engine, you can greatly improve your fuel MPG. But thousands claim to have done just that. And there are now a number of different e-manuals available on just how to go about it. Guides like Gas4Free offer full instructions on how to build a system, install it in your vehicle and tune it for optimum fuel mpg.

The internet abounds with very positive testimonials and there seems little doubt that the concept definitely works. But if that is the case, why don’t the mainstream manufacturers build it into every car they build? Even if the hydrogen generator system has already been patented, a simple licencing arrangement could easily resolve that issue. And there are bound to be many environmental advantages too. Why would any manufacturer not want to include this modern technology in their cars to improve their fuel mpg? And just think how unit sales would improve when you’re selling a car that has double the fuel mpg of its competitors.

There must be something preventing the car companies from taking the plunge.

Could the oil companies be at the bottom of this?

Are they in a cartel? Are national governments involved in this? Does OPEC play any part in this and what is the political agenda on this type of thing? It certainly isn't obvious is it?

The web sites of the various systems provide hundreds of glowing referrals from drivers who have apparently got the fuel mpg improvements promised.

Hey, I'm not so naive that I believe everything I see in the Web so I'm going to go ahead and a fit a hydrogen generator into my 2002 Honda to see if I can achive the fuel mpg savings promised.

Although I've never had any mechanical training, I've read through the Gas4Free manual and it all seems very straightforward. In the fullness of time I daresay you'll be able to find companies offering ready-made systems that you (or they) can fit in a very short time. There seem to be several main e-books available and I found this review which may help you to choose which one to go for.

Save Big With Used Cars

We all know that driving a car off the lot causes to drop in price by two thirds. Everyone knows this, but people still buy used cars constantly. Get this: depreciation of a new car actually costs you more than the gas ever will.

Let me tell you a story. I drive a 1990 Honda Accord with over 200,000 miles on it. It cost me $1700 six years ago when I bought it, and I've been driving it ever since. It fuel efficient, is big enough for most of my needs, and as been generally reliable all things considered.

As you might expect, some repairs have been necessary. I've needed to swap out an alternator, replace some brake pads, and change some hoses that were leaking. Total, I've spent about eight hundred dollars on repair parts over the time I've owned the car.

My insurance is cheap. Since the car is so old, I don't need comprehensive and collision insurance, which save me a lot on my monthly premiums. On the whole, this car is amazingly cheap. Is it fancy? Heck no, but it does it job while letting me spend my money on more important things.

Let's think about what a new car would cost to get us the same point A to point B functionality. Say you spend $20,000 or so on a new Accord. Already, you've spent over ten times the cost of my car. Add more to that if you didn't pay in cash, and took out a loan.

You're going to need insurance. Since you just bought a shiny new car, you'll need both comprehensive and collision insurance, which can be high, especially for younger drivers in newer cars.

A new car still needs to be maintained, which will cost money. All this time, the car will be loosing significant amounts of its value. Is this really the best way to be spending your money?

Buying used will allow you to save a lot of money on the expense of owning a car. Think of how much better your monthly cashflow will be without car payments or overly high insurance rates. Buying a cheap used car buys you financial freedom.

Increasing fuel mpg with water

A few weeks ago, I was asked to review a collection of e-books that provide full instructions on how to use excess energy from your car engine to split water into oxygen and hydrogen. This mixture of the two gases would then be introduced into your car’s engine and would effectively double your car’s fuel mpg. This got me to wonder why all the hundreds of technical ideas that seem to offer real solutions to real problems have been completely ignored by the major car manufacturers.

It seems that some had not been able to attract any funding to continue their research or they had been the subject of various sorts of threats.

It seems that some had been offered money to desist from their research and some had even died in ways that wre somewhat questionable. Now, if only a few people had come up with these claims then you probably wouldn't take much notice of them. But these sorts of claims seem to be everywhere. So what’s happening?

Look at the average fuel mpg of the average car. It’s improved by about 20 – 40% in the last forty years. However, if you look at the cars that enter economy trials and competitons, you'll see that well over 100 mpg is achievable with little difficulty by ordinary cars. Car makers are now able to do so many things in terms of steering, brakes, transmission etc, it's hard to believe that they can't do anything about fuel economy. If they actually produced such a vehicle they'd surely blow the competition away.

I need to do a lot more digging to see what's going on here, but, before I do, I'm going to put a system in my 2001 Honda to see if it does what it's supposed to. Happily, the component parts and indeed the instructions themselves, are not at all expensive. I feel fairly sure that it's going to work because the actual theory seems to make sense and the e-books are selling well across the market.

Of course, all fuel mpg economy systems have come under close scrutiny recently because, as the oil price has rocketed, improving fuel mpg has become a top priority for many drivers. There are lots of products out there offering to improve your fuel mpg and some of them are completely useless, so take your time when examining the options. That said, there’s no point in delaying either and for my money, the hydrogen injections systems that I’ve been talking about offer the best bang for your buck that you’re likely to find anywhere.

Have a look at this review and make your own mind up

Finding Good Deals] From Police Vehicle Auctions

police car auctions

Most citizens are not very familiar with the fact that the law enforcement agencies, from the local to the federal level, accumulate huge amounts of personal property. These items have been seized under the authority of the agency or it was somehow lost or just abandoned. As the warehouses and storage facilities of these public agencies start to overflow, they put on many government auctions and police auto auctions to clear out the facilities.

While some of this property that goes into a police auto auction, or a general property auction, is there as the result of arrests, seizures and forfeitures, there is also a lot of property in the warehouses of public agencies simply because of the carelessness on the part of the property owners. There are many cases where someone absentmindedly leaves something like a bicycle behind and never takes the additional steps to see if it had been turned into the authorities. In addition, a great deal of personal property of all kinds is confiscated from theft rings and drug busts, and because the property was not marked with any identification, it was impossible for the items to be returned to the rightful owners.

Even though there is a vast array of different property that gets sold at the general government auctions, it seems to be the police auto auctions that get the most attention because you can walk away with a steal of a deal on a vehicle. There are often all kinds of automobiles, from cars and trucks, to vans and SUVs, and some police car auctions will even include boats, bikes, jet skis, motorcycles and recreational vehicles as well.

A police auto auction can be a very practical place to search for a reliable car that is in good condition, especially if you would like to make it yours for just a fraction of the real market value. Many of the seized cars at these police public auctions tend to be a mixture of vehicles that are later models, as well as many that are 5 to 15 years old. Most of the cars were impounded because the owner of the vehicle committed some type of crime that gave the law enforcement agency the right to seize the vehicle and sell it.

Because most of the seized cars that have been impounded by police were operational at the time that they were taken off of the street because of driver infractions, many people feel more secure about buying from a police auto auction. In contrast, there are many repossessed cars that are sold through auto actions by banks and finance companies because people stopped making payments on the car due to some kind of mechanical malfunction.

If you are interested in the police auto auctions in your area, then you can contact your local police agencies in your town, your county and your state, and request a listing of all of the auctions that are scheduled. If you have never been to a car auto auction before, then it is a good idea to go and observe one and try to meet people who have a lot of auction experience and pick up some helpful pointers.

Common Areas Of Concern On Warranty Plans

extended auto warranty

These days, we can get warranty plans on our dishwashers, our iPods, our television sets and our automobiles. But how many of these extended warranty plans are really necessary? Is it all just a scheme to milk a little more out of the consumer, while industry standards allow the "build-it-to-break" model to continue? When it comes to big ticket items like your vehicle, you may want to consider the benefits of extended warranty coverage.

One common problem people run into is to fail to read and understand the agreement before they get work done. Knowing the right questions to ask your warranty company is crucial, experts say. For instance, ask if you can get the work done at any shop, or do you have to look for a certain certification, or in some cases return to the dealer? Additionally, is your car covered for "wear and tear" damage or just mechanical failure?

You should have a comprehensive list of all the parts that are/aren't covered! Sometimes you'll get a "bumper to bumper" warranty that covers everything except for the wear items, like brakes and tires, while other times you'll get a "power train" warranty, which covers the engine and transmission. While it's rare to find a company that offers coverage for everything, you should ensure that some of the most expensive repairs will be taken care of.

Another thing to watch out for with warranty plans is when they start. Some people assume if they buy extended warranty coverage that it will automatically begin when their manufacturer's warranty expires. However, more often than not, the coverage begins the day you purchase it. If may be thinking, "Well, why can't I just wait and buy my extended auto warranty later?" Yet auto warranty companies aren't stupid. They jack up the prices the longer you wait and the older your car is, which gives you less coverage as the years progress. For instance, if you were to buy your coverage from Warranty Direct within the first 100 miles of driving your new car, then you'd be covered for 7 years or 100,000 miles for $1,100; whereas, if you waited until your manufacturer's warranty expired after 3 years, then you'd only get 4 years of coverage or 100,000 miles for $1,950.

If you're one of those consumers who buys a car and trades after four years, then you might be fine passing on warranty plans. By contrast, many leasers or auto traders still find some peace of mind by purchasing the coverage because they don't like unanticipated surprises setting them back. By five years or so, you could run into expensive brake work, transmission problems or a number of other mechanical failures that could add up. If you're a business savvy saver, this may not be a problem for you. At the end of the day, you have to ask yourself, "How rough am I on my car? What can I expect?"

Are you thinking about buying a taxi?

If the answer to that question is, "yes," then it is important to consider whether to buy from a dealer, or whether to go with a private sale. Your legal protections are diminished for a < a href="http://www.voyagermpv.co.uk">taxi for sale in a private sale; however you may also find that a private sale saves you a lot of money. A dealer isn't always able to verify everything in a taxi's past with regard to body damage, accidents, or other problems.

Whoever you buy it from, you should be made aware of everything they know about it before you buy it. Dealers may not know everything about the taxi's history, such as collisions, mechanical problems, or body repairs; and if the seller simply forgets something, it is usually too late once you've bought it, to do anything about it.

When < a href="http://www.voyagermpv.co.uk">purchasing a taxi you should ask for its service history and for any garage bills they have in their possesion. If the seller cannot provide these, then you should beware that the seller may be trying to hide something such as Non-Authentic parts. If they can provide the neccesary records then the taxi has probably been taken good care of. Make sure however that the people who did the work on the taxi are a reputable dealer and not just a friend or relative of the seller.

Below is a couple of questions you might want to do the research on in case if you will find a cab you are interested in buying:

1) How long have they had the vehicle in possesion?
2) How many people have used the taxi aside from you?
3) Is the mileage counter correct?
4) What is your reason for selling it?
5) Can you show me records from the last time it was inspected or serviced?

These are just a few of the most important questions you should find out about. You should also find out - and this is very important! - whether there are any outstanding money owed on this vehicle, to make sure that you will be buying it clear and free of the liens of any kind.

< a href="http://www.voyagermpv.co.uk">Taxis for sale from dealers as opposed to an individual, you will have more rights. An act known as the "Sale of Goods Act" will apply here. Taking into account the age of the taxi you wish to purchase and its price, the taxi should not have any major faults. The only faults are ones that you have asked the seller about and were explained to you completely.

The taxi you are buying should be able to be used for the reason you bought it for and it should be in shape for its purpose. You must not forget to get your potential new taxi checked out. Some thing you can get it checked for is whether it has been involved in any accidents, has not been in a wreck, and has not been reported as a stolen vehicle.

Also make sure the name or names on the paperwork match whoever you're buying from! Once it's yours, enjoy it and don't forget to keep up the records on it so that when it comes time for you to sell, you'll get another fair deal.

You need to know your needs. Are you still a single? On the other hand, do you have wife and kids? Decide how much you want to spend each month on a used car. You have to have the answer to these questions if you want to reach the next level.

However efficient a standard may be, if operating a clutch will bother you over time, you should go for an automatic transmission.

Manual cars can help you save on fuel, but is only the hardcore enthusiasts get this kind of car. Cars with automatic transmissions are the best sellers in todays market. Cars that have an automatic transmission are the most popular because of the convenience.

When Is The Best Time To Buy A Car?

Owning a car is by far one of the best ways to travel, it is far more convenient than having to wait for a bus or other public transport, or calling a taxi. You can even get a Free Quick Online Auto Insurance Quote now.

If you're looking to purchase a new automobile and wish to save money, there are various means for acquiring a good deal. It is important to also plan ahead when purchasing a vehicle.

For the very best deal, buy at month's end, when the quarters are changing, or just before the dealer shuts down business for the day.

Since car dealers want to meet their required sales quota each quarter, they are likely to offer you a fantastic deal on a car. They'll probably be incredibly enticing, with extra perks like an extended warranty, and may even include some neat extra accessories for your car.

You can also get a better deal on a car if you but on a day that is raining. The reason is that the car dealership will have very few, if any, buyers. Customers are the top priority in any business, so car dealers will want to make you happy and will offer you some quite good deals.

Purchase your automobile during the holidays. Car sales during the holidays are not as high as other times of the year. Again, dealers will go out of their way to make a great deal for a car.

Buying your car early in the week is probably one of the best ways to buy a car. That's because lots of possible buyers attend on Saturday and Sunday. This means if you attempt to negotiate a price that's not satisfactory for the car dealer they will just abandon you and attempt to bargain with a different customer.

On the other hand, early in the week – on a Monday or a Tuesday, for instance – auto dealers get very few potential buyers, so they'll be glad to see you and are likely to be willing to discuss a really good deal with you. Think about car coverage quotes.

Buying end of the year model of a car tends to be cheap. This is because new models will arrive and last year's model fame will fade. Getting rid of last year's model to make room for this year's model is a priority of car dealers. Occasionally, this forces car dealers to lower their prices, but you can still negotiate. Some dealers will even throw in some free stuff the car.

If you purchase an automobile when the design is not being made anymore it can be a lot cheaper. Production of the older model stops when a newer model is introduced to the market. So car dealers want to get the old model off their hands as soon as possible.

If you don't need a new car, this is one of the better methods to use. It can be outdated or out of fashion but you got for a good bargain.

If you want to save a substantial amount of money, then buy when the government auctions off impounded cars. An impounded car may have been used for illegal purposes or was seized due to delinquent tax problems of the owner.

Surprisingly very new, these cars can also be in great condition and well-maintained. Since the government obtained these cars at no cost, and therefore have no financial investment in them, the auctions can start at an incredibly low price and vehicles can end up being bought at as much as a 90% discount.

The point to all these is buy a car when a car dealership business's is slow, and buy a car with outdated models to get car dealership to want to get rid of the outdated cars fast with cheap price. If you're looking for some new wheels, pay attention whenever the government is holding an auto auction. For more see Quick and Free Van Insurance Quote Online.

Ford – Shaken But Not Stirred

Like a lot of car manufacturers Ford has struggled financially in recent years and has been forced to sell a number of major assets in an attempt to return to profitability.

During this time the company has seen its market position fall in 2007 from the World’s second largest car manufacturer, a position it had previously held for some 56 years, to become third placed behind Toyota and General Motors respectively. To make things worse Ford then dropped to fourth place behind Volkswagen.

Ford underwent some rather rapid restructuring as a result and has jettisoned its two quality brands Jaguar and Land Rover to the Indian car manufacturer TATA Motors. It has also sold Aston Martin to a consortium of businessmen led by Prodrive Chairman Dave Richards, although it has retained a financial holding in the company. Financial restructuring has also taken place at Volvo who are part of the Ford group.

Despite these recent problems Ford continues to develop its successful model range and it is very much business as usual for Ford Europe as Ford USA attempts to get back on a stable business footing.

Ford’s European model range is now based on the new ‘Kinetic’ design platform and has consolidated its designs to offer an attractive collection of small, medium and large vehicles.

The vehicle which has attracted a lot of interest recently is the new Ford Kuga. Not to be mistaken with the Cougar which along with the Probe was an attempt to revive the Capri but proved to be a failure.

Ford has been out of the 4x4 market for a while largely due to its involvement with Land Rover and Volvo so the Kuga has been eagerly awaited. The Kuga is a five door crossover vehicle and is only designed for occasional off-road use and is not intended to have the same capabilities or ground clearance as larger 4x4 vehicles.

This may not have been made clear to the presenter of the Channel 5 motoring programme Fifth Gear. He was quite complimentary about the Kuga but could not resist driving it into really punishing terrain that ultimately caused a reported £7000 worth of damage.

The Kuga utilises an intelligent AWD (All Wheel Drive) Haldex four wheel drive system whereby power is supplied the road wheels where necessary according to the terrain. It is powered by a 2.0 TDCI diesel engine which has been improved by Ford engineers so that it now has the lowest CO2 emissions in its class and also delivers an impressive 44mpg combined which should pacify some environmentalists. The engine has improved torque and a six-speed manual gearbox as standard. The current model range consists of the Zetec model and also the Titanium with the Titanium having a slightly higher spec although both are very well equipped.

The Kuga has very good safety levels with an impressive Euro NCAP rating of five stars for adult occupants, four stars for children and even three stars for pedestrians so you’ll even be ok if you are unfortunate enough to get knocked down by one! There are a large number of passive and active features including multiple air bags and a rigid safety cell. The Kuga also boasts ABS, Traction Control, and Electronic Stability Programme. Keyless entry and start can also be found as can a variety of different ‘packs’ which manufacturers now offer according to customer needs. The specifications of both are very generous though and come with 17” Alloy wheels although 19” are available. The Kuga will never match the capabilities of bigger 4x4’s but then its not really meant to and  therefore will be happy to occupy the position in the market for which it has been designed. Ford has created yet another winner here and seemingly refuses to be beaten.

The Promise of Cellulose Ethanol

Ethanol has emerged as the premier alternative fuel to replace gasoline and lessen our dependence on fossil fuels. In Brazil for example, 8 out of every 10 cars on the road already run on ethanol derived from the sugar cane plant. In part, the United States is the largest producer and exporter of ethanol derived from corn. But is it a good idea to use a food source to produce a fuel? By the current rising costs of food and commodities, there's a very strong case against the idea.

Enter Cellulose

Cellulose is one of the most abundant organic molecules on earth. It is apparent in all forms of plant life. It has been found by many scientists to be the answer to the search for an alternative source of ethanol. Cellulose ethanol is basically ethanol derived from organic matter such as wood chips, prairie grass, switch grass, and even saw dust. These sources of cellulose ethanol can be found in a lot of the waste material in such fields as construction, farming, the lumber industry, and even landscaping. All this waste material is given the term "biomass" by scientists.

It is estimated that the United States alone can generate around 500 million tons of biomass per year. This yield would enable the production of about 40 billion gallons of cellulose ethanol annually, replacing about 25% of the total gasoline consumption in America today. The importance of getting cellulose ethanol online is quite evident, but the transfer process is a gradual one. Cost effective ways to produce cellulose ethanol are being developed and optimized, and a substantial infrastructure of production and deliverability is on its way. Further more, it is imperative in the process of commercial production of cellulose ethanol to lessen the yield of any more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.

Cellulose Ethanol

The process of making cellulose ethanol is pretty close to the same process of making moonshine, but with a few other steps. The biomass material is first churned into fine particles and pretreated with an acid to start the breakdown process. It is then soaked in a high temperature container for several days as enzymes break down the cellulose molecule into simple sugars. The sugar is then fermented through a form of yeast or bacteria. Fermentation is basically the consumption of the sugar by the yeast, yielding fuel grade cellulose ethanol as a waste byproduct. The cellulose ethanol is then distilled from the sugar/yeast solution.

Like any other technology, it is through the passage of time and through consistent honing of the technology that the production costs are reduced and the yields are maximized. It is an evolving process whereby scientists discover better and more efficient ways to produce cellulose ethanol. The first commercial facility to produce cellulose ethanol from biomass is due to come online by 2011 in the Midwest region of the United States.

Why Ferrari wins vs Porsche

Porsche vs Ferrari? Porsche and Ferrari are German and Italian sides of the same coin, interpretations of the sports car idea. Both founded by a dominant patriarch, both honed in racing, both more than 50 years old, both with engineering and styling integrity. Whether on the track of Le Mains or on the streets, the two have always been put head-to-head and compared. Even the most naive motorist associates these two names with both performance and style.

We’ve decided to compare the methodical Porsche 911 Carrera 4S and the passionate Ferrari F430 because both of them astonish with their performance while attempting to maintain a reasonable amount of practicality but do not pretend to be anything other than sports cars.

A modern sports car should feature these characteristics: it should be started easily, maneuvered around town, blasted on a couple of country roads, it looks and performs the part on a racetrack but at the same time it is very safe.

The easier way to separate the two cars is by measuring figures since both of them have mastered the modern sports car requirements and basically there’s no other way to choose between these two phenomenal cars. What initially impresses is Ferrari's lightning fast 4-second 0-100km/h acceleration and thrilling exhaust tone. As the occupants are pinned to the seats, the new generation 4.3-litre V8 pushes out 368 snarling kilowatts. Porsche’s acceleration also offers that kick in the pants a super car should deliver, although it is 0.8 seconds slower at the 100 km/k mark.

With such acceleration performance, it comes natural for both cars to excel in the braking department. The two cars offer optional ceramic discs for impressive stopping. Porsche’s engine gets the upper hand as it is more refined and on the economy rank leaps ahead Ferrari with a 11.8 liters per 100 km as opposed to 18.3 liters. Both cars deliver the power through impressive 6-speed gearboxes and offer top rate handling performance.
Both F430 and Carrera4S offer great interior comfort and even if the space is limited, the occupants don't feel claustrophobic and flustered. Although an impressive mix of suede, carbon fiber and aluminum abound in the Ferrari, the Italians stand no chance when it comes to the high finish level attained by the Germans.

Speed and silence are key elements for any super car. The look and appearance is the biggest draw card. The Carrera 4S is a typical Porsche, despite the new proportions. It is a great looking car, like any other 911 but somehow the styling no longer creates the jaw dropping reaction that the Ferrari does. Indeed, traditionalists may say that Porsche pays homage to its roots, but the truth is that Ferrari F430 simply draws the attention. Also Ferrari prices are always more expensive.

However, even if Ferrari F430 takes your breath away with its appearance, the super car title goes to the Porsche Carrera 4S with a more complete all round package.

Water Hybrid Car - Is It For Real Or Scam?

Drive Car With Water

Want to know if it's really possible to run your car on water? Can a car be really converted to run on water to help improve fuel efficiency or is it a scam?

The water car buzz began when gas prices around the world started to rise to record highs. With no immediate relief from oil companies or the government in sight, ordinary folks began searching for alternative fuel or gas saving technologies that will help them combat the rising cost of fuel. And currently, one of the most controversial and talked about solution is how to convert one's car to run on water and gas to increase fuel efficiency.

Run Your Car On Water - Truth Or Scam?

To get the facts straight, running your car on water is not about adding water to the gas tank and driving your car completely on water. This kind of water fuel technology is not viable yet and will definitely result in serious damages to your car. Which is why for the general community who only hears about it, is having problems believing such water for gas conversion is genuine and calls it a scam.

In actual fact, to run your car on water, you're still need to add gasoline to your vehicle's gas tank. The water car system lies in installing a water fuel cell kit, also know as hydrogen fuel cell directly onto your car's engine. After you have installed the water fuel cell kit proper, you will pour water into this kit to make your car run on water.

The water in the hydrogen fuel cell kit is then broken down into single oxygen and hydrogen atoms through the process of electrolysis, which is then reconverted into HHO or Brown's Gas. The new HHO is then used as alternative fuel for cars. This way, actual fuel consumption is drastically reduced and hence the term, run your car on water to save fuel or increase mileage.

Do you knoe that this water car technology is not something new. In 2004, the FISITA World Automotive Congress actually performed a test on the addition of HHO from water to a single cylinder direct injection fuel engine. After the test, they concluded that when a small amount of hydrogen is added, the combustion process of the internal combustion engines could be considerably enhanced. Therefore, it is a proven fact that when a car is fitted with a hydrogen fuel cell kit, it can help increase the fuel economy of the vehicle.

Following the results, big automobiles companies like BMW and Honda Technology have begun developing this water hybrid technology into their own cars. However, due to investors' concern, government regulations and safety tests that need to be conducted for approval, the hybrid vehicles production are taking longer than expected to be make available. However, industry insiders are saying that this water-gas technology will be ready and will be the standard in new automobiles within the next 5 to 10 years!

Run car on water may be the future but if you want to enable your car to be more fuel efficient and save yourself thousands of dollars in fuel costs every year, the future is now!

Build your own water fuel cell kit for less than $150 and increase your vehicle's fuel efficiency today!

Biodiesel Fuel - The Future Green Gold?

Look around you, prices of commodities kept on increasing is it not? The news about oil price hike has always been in the front page. But did you notice what is the news telling about the solution to high cost of petroleum fuel? Look for an alternative cheap fuel, which is the common solution you will find nowadays. At which alternative fuel stands out? Its Biodiesel fuel! Could it become the future "Green Gold"?

What is Biodiesel and why it is becoming so popular among the motorists in almost all parts of the World? Biodiesel fuel is an alternative fuel for diesel engine vehicles that uses petroleum diesel fuel to run their car. Aside from the cheaper price, the emission from engine is much cleaner so it does not contribute pollution to our environment. It has no bad odor; production cost is not very expensive. It is made from 87% vegetable oil or animal fats, which are renewable energy products.

This is globally accepted because it has passed all the testing requirements for health effects of the 1990 clean Air Act amendments. The manufacturers also follow strictly the industry specifications (ASTM6751) to maintain the quality of the produced product.

The main question is how can we maintain or even lower the price? The good news is there many countries are taking Biodiesel development seriously. As a matter of fact there are many Biofuel World Events that are scheduled this year. Actually there are four big events scheduled this month of August 2008. The four countries hosting these events are India, Malaysia, USA, and Brazil.

Can we expect for a brighter future without too much dependence on petroleum oil? I believe so. Global cooperation and joint research effort plus the transparent sharing of information on new development will lead to a big success. Today, we are very lucky to have advance telecommunication technology, exchanging and transmitting of data is very fast and efficient. We are looking forward for the bright future of a "Green World" and the birth of a new "Green Gold" era. I do believe that we are going to find  a better alternative fuel source soon.

Vauxhall Vans Still come in White

Did you know the term “White Van Man” is attributed to Radio 2 DJ Sarah Kennedy way back in 1997? A fact she has no doubt been dining out on ever since.

In the eleven years that has elapsed since white van man was singled out for posing the greatest threat to society, world and home events have meant that maybe there are worse things in life than someone being discourteous towards us whilst driving.

I seem to remember though that white vans do seem to attract a certain amount of attention not all of it welcomed. I hired a white van a while back to move flat and within minutes a small group of dirty faced youths started hanging around and I had to move them on by threatening to play my Richard Clayderman albums loudly.

As a consequence “white van man” has reinvented himself somewhat and undergone a bit of an image change to reflect these changing times. For instance mainly due to a loophole with VAT ratings many builders who in the past may have driven dilapidated white vans  a few years ago can now be found driving around in swanky new 4x4 pick-ups. Especially the double cab versions which are now being used on the school run amongst other things.

Also due to the rising costs of motoring a lot of vans have now become the main vehicle in the household and with the image of the white van in crisis other colours were being tried in an attempt to shake off the stereotypical image of the occupant. Some time ago silver was deemed to be the new white for the more image-conscious driver.

The term “New Van Man” was coined to reflect the trend of tradesmen who would rather be seen drinking a tall latte rather than a mug of tea with maybe a copy of The Guardian on the dashboard instead of The Sun.

People’s expectations are a lot higher these days and the equipment level of today’s vans has improved to reflect this. I remember a friend of mine used to be a delivery driver and I used to occasionally accompany him when I’d lost the will to live. The problem being his van was so basic there was not even a passenger seat! This failed to put me off and I helped myself and took one of my mums dining room chairs. This kind of worked in so far as I could put a seatbelt round me but of course without being fixed to the floor it did have a tendency to catapult me into the dashboard if we stopped quickly or alternatively sent me flying backwards into a pile of discarded sandwich wrappers when we pulled away.

These days vans have airbags and air conditioning (so the sun-tanned right arm has become a thing of the past) CD’s and MP3 players and such like even electric windows, in the past you would be lucky to have a window winder as it would have fallen off long ago and be rattling around annoyingly somewhere under the driver’s seat.

Take the Vauxhall Vivaro I have just been reading about for instance, the specification list reads better than a lot of cars currently available, there’s even a sport version. It comes with a choice of the latest common rail diesel engines and some 16 different body variations and it’s even made in Luton England. Safety features include ABS with EBA (Emergency Brake Assist) and seat belt pretensioners. The Vivaro is available in long and short wheelbase versions including minibuses as well as a high roof option, always handy to avoid bashing your head when loading.

All the vans I have looked at are shown in red but rest assured white is still an option for the traditionalist!

Purchasing Your First Classic Vehicle

For most people, owning classic or vintage cars is a dream-come true. Owning classic cars are considered a luxury. This is very costly; most people can't even afford to purchase, much less restore one. You will also need free instant auto insurance quotes.

The first thing to really consider when thinking about whether to buy a classic car is your budget; how much can you spend on an antique vehicle? Some people will use their life savings to buy one.

Vintage cars can also be an investment. Beyond renewal, the exchange rate of the automobile would be bigger than you imagined. Depending on its model and condition, classic cars can be a potential profit maker.

These classics are usually sold in auctions and there are many classic car enthusiasts out there willing to spend a fortune on these cars.

But before you purchase anything you should remember these tips:Remember that your mission is to buy a real "collector car." Make you also see about ree motor insurance quote.

Set a budget and choose a car that you can afford. Unless you have a lot of money to work with, coveted vintage cars from major expos are probably out. One car shown in major care shows can cost you at least hundreds of thousands of dollars

Finding information on where you can buy a classic car is hard. Just looking for one of these cars takes a lot of time and hard work. Remember that these cars are not manufactured anymore and you do not often see these on your regular used car dealership.

You can see them in junk yards and in elderly people's yards or garages, and they could sell or otherwise dispose of these classics! You might even obtain them at a bargain price. However, these cars are probably covered with rust already and have engines that are in bad shape.

Bidding at auctions might result in some great classic car finds. If travel is a possibility for you, it's definitely worth your time to attend car auctions held in different locations.

This means you'll be able to bargain a little over the price. You can also opt for a classic car that is in good condition and less restoration will be required.

Do a comparison if you think you've found what you are looking for. If you are a mechanic you can probably do the comparison yourself, if not, try to bring your trusted mechanic along to help you decide which one to buy. The less restoration that is required the less work that is required.

After you find the one you want and purchase it, the next thing to do is to restore it. You will find this phase to be both expensive and time consuming since quality classic car parts are difficult to locate and costly to build.

When you are purchasing antique car parts it will involve countless hours making money phone calls to get the parts necessary for your restoration project. The internet is the easiest tool for finding classic car parts.

If you do not find one, you can ask a machine shop to manufacture one for you. All you have to do is bring the old part to the shop and they will do the rest.

If you don't know much about repairing cars, much more restoring it, it is probably best if you hire a mechanic to do the restoration or go to one of those classic car restoration shops. If you purchase a vehicle for investment reasons, it's not wise to use those shops which tend to be expensive. More info here: auto and car insurance quotes.
