Driving is a life Skill

All you need to know about learning to drive. The Minimum age for learning to drive in the UK is 17, and you can apply for your provisional licence two weeks before your birthday.Although if you have disabilities and are on Mobility allowance you can have a licence at 16.There’s been a lot of talk lately about changes to the law for learning to drive, which I know has had everyone who is 16 and 17 on the edge of their seats worried it will be raised to 18, but at the time of writing, or the foreseeable future, there are no plans to raise the minimum age

Learning to drive is a sequence of events which starts when you apply for a provisional driving licence and continues when you pass both your theory and practical driving tests and get your full licence. You may already know, when learning to drive, you must pass both a theory test and a practical test. You can start learning to drive whilst studying for the theory test, but you must first pass the theory test before you can apply for the practical test

The first step in learning to drive is to book an initial driving lesson.  It's best to take lessons with a qualified instructor who follows the recommended syllabus for learning to drive. The vehicle you learn to drive in must clearly display L plates and these should be covered up or removed when the vehicle is not driven by a learner driver.

Learning to drive can be one of the most stressful things you’ll ever do. We must ensure that people learning to drive are taught the skills they need to be safe drivers when they start driving alone. Whilst learning to drive a wide range of resources can be found from your local library, including books and videos. You can find a wealth of information here, including help understanding tuition fees; useful articles on learning to drive; and a guide to obtaining your provisional and full driving licences.these resources for learning to drive are completely free.

Whether you are currently learning to drive with a parent or guardian or with a driving school, all learners would benefit from gathering as much useful advice, knowledge and additional Information as possible.Learning to drive can be the most rewarding and important skill you can learn in life. When learning to drive your car safely, passing your test is just the first step. Safe driving for life is a far more important skill
